Oh hear Him, Christian within me. It stirs my sin; the river, Oh, she swells with our lousiness. All my life will end for him? We're all out of signs, I know I'm sorta shocked To hear The Lord, My God now will save me! Oh I will n'er be saved, Because I live with Satan.. One wish today; That you'll all pray for Three who will make it here late. Hold on a sec, Bonham's the dead one. Woe oh oh oh oh oh. And he's murdering "Stairway to Heaven". And we're praying that soon, He will finish this tune. But it seems like he's taking all season. Hope the next song he'll play. Will blow this one away. 'Cause I don't think he'll get any laughter. So there you have it: Robert Plant, member of Led Zeppelin and the writer of Stairway to Heaven, thinks this whole backmasking controversy is a bunch of bullocks. It’s too bad he didn’t get a photo with Rob, that would have gone a long way in knowing that he really did talk to him. backmasking, Robert Plant, stairway to heaven. Another problem- if you say Led Zeppelin to any teenager, then he immediately thinks/ says "Stairway to Heaven." Though the song is good, it's not Zeppelin's only friggin' song. Being 15 and a huge fan of Led Zeppelin, it pisses me off to hear my peers disrespect Zeppelin by only thinking of Stairway to Heaven.

Lyrics. There's a lady who's sure. All that glitters is gold. And she's buying a stairway to heaven. When she gets there she knows. If the stores are all closed. With a word she can get what she came for. Oh oh oh oh and she's buying a stairway to heaven. There's a sign on the wall.
A well-known alleged message is found in Led Zeppelin's 1971 song "Stairway to Heaven". The backwards playing of a portion of the song purportedly results in words beginning with "Here's to my sweet Satan" (listen ⓘ). Swan Song Records issued a statement to the contrary: "Our turntables only play in one direction—forwards." .
