Blair Witch is an American horror media franchise created by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez, distributed by Artisan Entertainment (now Lionsgate) and produced by Haxan Films that consists of three feature films and various additional media. The development of the franchise's first installment, The Blair Witch Project, started in 1993.
The main characters lose one of their friends. We hear them calling out to him in the darkness, and they think he is calling back, but it's not really him. The next morning, the protagonists find his shirt wrapped around some sticks, and inside is blood and teeth. One characters goes missing after one night and never returns.
